Here are a few simple preparations to follow that will help your performance before,
during and after the shows resulting in a high rate of return from the bridal event.
Invite potential customers to the event. This helps you as well as the fellow wedding
professionals at each show. This can easily be done by phone, mail or email.
Arrive early and allow enough time to be set up before the brides to be arrive.
Also please make sure where you are to enter and load in at and be prepared with
the necessarily equipment to carry your display and wears in with.
Once the guests arrive and begin to mill about the vendors stand in front of your booth.
Make sure you eat first, are in a good mood and dressed appropriately.
Be sure to describe your services and offer show specials or discounts,
Have sign in sheets and/or your appointment book and availability calendar with you.
DO NOT BREAK DOWN DURING A SHOW!
This looks bad for the show and to the guests.
Many brides arrive doing the show and would like to ask questions
after as well as to see if they are a winner at your table for your show specials or door prizes.
After the show, make sure to follow up with the guests.
Remember be prepared for this is your first impression to many potential clients
and follow wedding professionals. Make it your best.
