For many women, the bachelorette party can be just as memorable as the wedding. Sharing a night of laughs and fun with your closest friends is the best way to celebrate you before your big day. While when the day comes, it will be an enjoyable experience, leading up to it can be quite stressful. Instead of going into your night out worried about what-ifs, here are some easy ways to have a stress-free celebration.
Make Plans Ahead of Time
Planning ahead for your bachelorette is a crucial first step in having a stress-free celebration. Whether that be making reservations, sending out invites, or planning the night of festivities, you’ll want to have everything settled before the day comes. There is nothing worse than showing up to a hot-spot and realizing there’s an agonizing wait. Nothing good can come out of scrambling to make last-minute plans, so be sure to lean on your bridal party for help with planning. While the night is all about celebrating you, check with your “I do crew” to see if they have ideas or can help you plan so the weight isn’t all on your shoulders.
When we say this we mean it! It’s crucial you plan for anything and everything just to play it safe. To ensure nothing gets left behind, designate various tasks to your bridal party. For example, have someone be in charge of the snacks and pregame drinks, extra clothes, phone chargers, and a party playlist to get you in the mood for a night of fun. Bringing extra supplies and having everything together going into the night will allow for smooth sailing and (hopefully) no bumps in the road.
Trust in Your Maid of Honor
Your maid of honor is there to have your back throughout the entire wedding process, and that means the night of your bachelorette as well. From small tasks such as helping you pick out your outfit, to her hosting a girls’ night to when you’re feeling stressed, you should trust her to save the day when you need it most. Something you may not necessarily think about, but could be a reality is having your period on your fun night out. While using a leak protectant cup over a tampon can give you peace of mind, be sure to update your MOH so she can watch for accidents and remind you to change every so often, especially when the drinks start flowing.
Offer Party Favors
Your bachelorette party would not be complete without meaningful gifts for each guest. These favors should include items that help to bond your squad, as well as items that can help you make the most of your night. Consider things that can unify your group such as matching shirts, hair ties, or even fun temporary tattoos. If you’re all planning on consuming alcohol, consider customized koozies and cups, or even creating hangover recovery kits to save the day the following morning.
Even with the most meticulous party planning, there is always the possibility for things to go wrong. Unfortunately, we cannot plan the world around us, leaving room for stressful situations to arise. Should you find yourself in this position, it’s important to remember that this is a night of fun for you and your pals. Some things are simply out of your control, and if you look at it with a positive mindset, it can leave you with something to laugh about in the future. Focus on you, your friends, and making the most of the night no matter what!
