Pantone has named its 10 colors for Spring 2016 and this collection feature some excellent choices for the upcoming wedding season. With a mix of bold and soft colors, every couple can create a palette which fits their style. “Colors this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves”, said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.
PANTONE 13-1520 Rose Quartz
Rose Quartz is described as a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure. Blush tones are extremely popular as a leading or accent color in a wedding palette – some even choose blush tones for wedding gowns!
PANTONE 16-1548 Peach Echo
The Pantone Color Institute discusses Peach Echo as a shade that emanates friendlier qualities, evoking warmth and accessibility. This is a soft color traditionally utilized as an accent color that is coming to the forefront this spring.
PANTONE 15-3919 Serenity
Serenity sounds like a perfect marriage color – doesn’t it? It is described as a transcendent blue with a calming effect. Another versatile color that can be seamlessly weaved into your wedding color scheme – one that is appropriate for a daytime or evening wedding, as well!
